TERMS & CONDITIONS

EFFECTIVE 16 OCTOBER 202610 SECTIONS ยท 4 MIN READ

How accounts, memberships, training risk and your content work on KongQuest.

Welcome to KongQuest. These terms are an agreement between you and KongQuest ("KongQuest", "we", "us") and they apply whenever you use kongquest.app, kongquest.com.au, or any KongQuest service connected to your account (together, "the Platform").

01

Your account

One person, one account. Under 16s need a parent or guardian to sign up.
1.1
You create an account by signing up on the Platform. By signing up you agree to these Terms & Conditions and to our Privacy Policy.
1.2
Give us accurate information and keep your login details secret. You are responsible for everything done through your account.
1.3
If you are under 16, a parent or guardian must create the account on your behalf and agree to these terms for you. By creating an account for a child, you confirm you are their parent or guardian.
1.4
One person, one account. Accounts cannot be sold, shared, or transferred.
02

Memberships and payments

Paid plans renew automatically and you can cancel any time in settings.
2.1
Parts of the Platform are free. Paid memberships show their price, currency, and billing frequency at the point of purchase, renew automatically, and can be cancelled any time from your account settings, taking effect at the end of the billing period.
2.2
Payments are processed by our payment provider. We do not store your full card details.
2.3
Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, including consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded.
2.4
You may add up to 2 GB of media to each event. Media you upload while playing a quest is free and does not count toward that limit. There is no paid storage plan.
03

Training, movement, and physical risk

Parkour carries real risk. Train within your ability, at your own risk.
3.1
KongQuest provides education and community around parkour and movement. Parkour is a physically demanding activity and carries real risk of injury.
3.2
Any training you do based on Platform content is voluntary and at your own risk. Train within your ability, check your environment is safe, use appropriate supervision for children, and get medical advice before starting a new exercise program if you have health concerns.
3.3
Platform content is general education. It is not medical advice and is not a substitute for in-person coaching or supervision.
3.4
To the extent permitted by law (including the Australian Consumer Law), we are not liable for injury, loss, or damage arising from physical activity you choose to do. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the minimum permitted by law.
04

Your content

You own what you post. We can show it on the Platform and in our marketing.
4.1
You keep ownership of everything you post: posts, comments, videos, showreels.
4.2
By posting, you give KongQuest a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, and share your content on the Platform and in KongQuest marketing. You can ask us to stop using a specific piece of content in marketing at any time.
4.3
You promise your content is yours to post and does not break any law or the community rules below. If it shows a person under 16, you must be their parent or guardian or have their parent or guardian's permission.
05

Instagram and event media

Connecting Instagram is optional. Posts that tag our events may appear on the event's Media wall.
5.1
Connecting your Instagram account is optional. When you add posts from Instagram, they are your content under "Your content" above, and the same licence applies.
5.2
When you tag one of our events' Instagram accounts (for example @natgatparkour) in a public Instagram post, you allow KongQuest to display that post on the event's Media wall on the Platform, credited to your Instagram handle and linked to the original. You can ask us to remove it at any time at help@kongquest.com.au.
5.3
Your use of Instagram is also governed by Instagram's own terms. KongQuest is not affiliated with or endorsed by Instagram or Meta.
06

Community rules

Be respectful, progress within ability, and respect every location.
6.1
Be respectful. No bullying, harassment, hate, or abuse.
6.2
No dangerous-dare culture. Encourage progression within ability, never pressure others into attempts beyond their level.
6.3
No spam or self-promotion outside the areas built for it.
6.4
No illegal content, and no posting other people's private information.
6.5
Respect locations. Content showing trespass or property damage may be removed.

We may remove content, restrict features, suspend, or close accounts that break these rules, without warning for serious or repeated breaches.

07

Our content

Our paid material is for your own training, not for resale or teaching.

Everything we create on the Platform (names, logos, design) belongs to KongQuest or our licensors. Your membership gives you a personal, non-transferable right to use it for your own training. You may not copy, resell, redistribute, or teach from our paid materials without written permission.

08

Availability and changes

The Platform will evolve. We give notice of meaningful changes.

We work hard to keep the Platform available, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. The Platform will evolve, and we may update these terms. For meaningful changes we will give notice on the Platform or by email.

09

Ending your account

Delete your account any time from settings.

You can delete your account at any time from your account settings or by contacting us. Your information is then handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

10
